Goals

The Foundation has divided its goal setting into long and short term goals…

Working Women Scholarship: Presented to a woman who is re-entering the workforce, changing careers, or is a displaced worker who has applied to a post secondary institution for at least part-time attendance.

Girl Scout Scholarship: Presented to a woman who is between her senior year in high school and her senior year in college and who has applied to or is attending a post-secondary institution for at least part-time attendance.

Women in Transition Scholarship: Presented to a woman who is re-entering the workforce, changing careers, or is a displaced worker who has applied to a post secondary institution for at least part-time attendance.

One of the primary goals of the Indiana Women’s Education Foundation and especially the Conni Richards Youth Fund, established by the Board in January of 1992 in memory of Conni Richards, is to have teens take a proactive role with regard to their futures. One way to help the young is through the essay contest.
